Preparing to return to Church

With the dawning of Spring to St Winnow church, the churchyard is beginning to come alive once more, as snowdrop heads, nod in the breeze and the daffodils shower the graves with sunshine yellow.  On a sunny February afternoon, you could be forgiven for thinking it was April. 

Although we are, sadly, still quite a long way out of this pandemic, we can at least enjoy the small victories, be it the coming forth of Spring flowers, or the first service of 2021 in our lovely church.  Although we walk with small steps, with a eucharist on the first Sunday of the month, we pray it won't be too long before we can enjoy our outdoor church and later still joining in fellowship for refreshments after services! 

In the meantime we continue to pray for our communities of Lostwithiel and Lerryn, as well as further afield.  Please stay safe, take care and if you feel comfortable doing so,  you are most welcome to join us on 7th March for our first service of 2021.
