St Winnow Parish Church
We are delighted to announce that services have resumed. You are also welcome to visit St Winnow for private prayer and a moment of peace in these unsettling times. You will notice a few changes including social distancing, face masks and hand sanitisers to keep everyone safe. Despite the changes, please be assured of the usual warm St Winnow welcome to all.
St Nectan's Chapel
St Nectan's Chapel is our Sister "Summer" Chapel, with no mains electricity or water. The season opens with a Benefice Dawn Eucharist Service, followed by an Easter Breakfast. From May to September there is an Evensong according to the book of 'Common Prayer (1662)' sung on the 4th Sunday of the month at 6.30pm. The rest of the year, the churchyard continues to be a very special, spiritual place to visit and spend a quiet moment.
Parishioners of St Winnow also visit our neighbouring church at Bradoc every fourth Sunday at 11:15 AM.
Fifth Sunday services are reserved for united Benefice services and rotated across the Parishes.
The Benefice also launched a live streaming service as below. Please follow on Facebook to join future services
Rev'd Paul is streaming two services each week, on Thursday's for Celtic Eucharist and on Sunday mornings. Both services are at 10.30am and can either be live streamed from the Benefice Facebook page or downloaded from YouTube a little later.
Daily Prayer is also to be streamed from Monday to Thursday each week at 7.30pm.
The Rev'd Paul Beynon will maintain pastoral support for as many as require it. Please contact either the Church Wardens or the Church Office if you need anything in the meantime, and please continue to join us in praying for our communities and our nation.
We are also making available other worship resources, please contact the church office if you would like to receive any of them.
The Church of England website has daily services online for you to follow and participate in and has many resources available with downloadable services and prayer resources.
